My top 3 home must-haves in Jupiter, FL

I could barely narrow it down to three…

There are SO many little luxury upgrades you can find in homes in Jupiter, FL (HELLO: appliance garage, double laundry rooms, outdoor kitchens, tiki huts, ETC ETC ETC).

But for me, there are three things that are ESSENTIAL in any house I would buy here:

🪟 Impact windows: listen, accordion or regular shutters are fine, but they can be a pain. Personally, I wouldn’t buy a house without impact windows—the insurance savings + storm protection give me peace of mind, and they’re a pricey upgrade if you decide to add them yourself. Worth it to me to pick a house that already has them.

🏊 Pool: some people don’t want the maintenance, but I don’t want the hassle of taking 3 kids to the community pool any time we want to swim. Have you ever gone for a run and immediately jumped in the pool? WORTH IT. And similar to impact windows, the cost to add one is significant, and personally I wouldn’t want to be bothered.

🪴 Covered outdoor space: listen, it rains here a LOT in the summer. And there’s nothing like having a covered space to throw the outdoor cushions when a storm is coming. The heat and weather can be a lot on outdoor furniture but having a covered space in the shade to keep it (and enjoy some respite from the sun yourself!) is essential.

BONUS: I currently am living for my outdoor shower! I wouldn’t say it’s a home essential, but I wouldn’t want to go back to living without it!
